B.K. Pulse Ltd
One of the main activity of our company is design and manufacturing of ultrasonic transducers used in NDT applications. These transducers are compatible with all commercially available flaw detectors and ultrasonic instrumentation and thickness meters. Since the acoustic properties and test objectives and methods vary considerably from one material to another, B.K. Pulse company has developed five series of standard transducers. These transducers differ from each other in sensitivity, pulse width and other electrical and acoustical characteristics.

Contact Transducers (CM, CH & LC Types)
These transducers are rugged enough for direct contact testing of metals, plastics and composites. The case style and front face material make these transducers durable and easy to grip. The CM and CH transducers provide two different feature to cover a wide range of applications. The CM types are designed when sensitivity and penetration is required and CH types are used in applications when axial and maximum bandwidth is required.

DualElement Transducers (DE Type)
These transducers are designed for thickness measurements, lamination detection, pitting and corrosion. They have high gain and resolution with minimum cross- talk noise. DE type transducers are designed for use with all standard pulse-echo systems and thickness meters.

Immersion Transducers (IMM & IMH Types)
Immersion transducers are designed to transmit and receive ultrasound waves in water when partially or wholly immersed in water. These transducers are used inside a water tank in scanning applications and provide a means of uniform acoustical coupling. In this way it is possible to scan a large area in short period of time.The IMM are designed for sensitivity and penetration, the IMH are designed for axial resolution and bandwidth.

Replaceable Delay Line Transducer (RD Type)
The RD give the total flexibility of being able to use one transducer for both, normal delay line or high temperature delay line applications without the need for any special conversion kits.

Shear Wave Angle Beam Transducers (SW type)
The SW type transducers are shear wave transducers with different angle beam such as ; 38, 45 and 70 degrees. They have optimum resolution, high gain, excellent signal to noise ratio and are ideal for general purpose flaw detection and weld inspection.
